Then, there are exceptional days&#8230; everything goes smoothly, you&#8217;re around good people, everyone is on time, no technical difficulties and you put out a great product at the end of the day. Then you skip all the way home. When you&#8217;re a photographer and you shoot a wedding like Matt and Francesca Gerfy&#8217;s you have an exceptional day at work.<\/p>\n<p>Walking into Francesca&#8217;s hotel room at The Aria was like photographer Christmas. I remember looking over at Stephen, giddy, when I saw the blush colored bridesmaid dresses hanging on matching hangers. Then we took in the elements of the room; textured wallpaper, mirrors, a huge window&nbsp;with soft sunlight pouring in through a sheer drape. Walking in further I noticed all of the bridesmaids with full hair and makeup in pink button-ups with their monograms embroidered over the pocket. This bride pays attention to detail. Our Pinterest boards aligned and Stephen and I got to work. Which didn&#8217;t feel like work at all, if only I&#8217;d had a pink monogram shirt and a mimosa.<\/p>\n<p>This day had the perfect combination of lighthearted fun between the couples family and friends and a very evident love for each other. One moment that sticks out is the gift Francesca received before the ceremony from Matt- it came with a handwritten letter from him that moved her to tears immediately &#8211; the rest of the room had trouble keeping it together as well!<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite hours of the day was the beautiful ceremony in the garden at Wedgewood (complete with baby&#8217;s breath bouquets at the beginning of each row of chairs) where we captured the most sincere exchange of expressions between the couple during Francesca&#8217;s walk down the aisle. Finally, rounding out the day of tender moments was the reception that included a slide show of the couple, a grand entrance to Turn Down For What by Lil Jon (a last minute addition) and a garter removal that went on my list of top five entertaining garter removals. What a privilege to be a part of they incredibly memorable day.
